I'm pretty sure this ep will go down as one of the best...because not only did we get some good storyline (and I loved the side-plot of Gwen investigating and figuring things out) but it was like a glimpse of the future with Arthur going on quests with Merlin and the knights.
It's hard not to love Gwaine (or G.love as I am now calling him, because nobody can decide how to spell his name) and I don't think they pushed the Merlin/G ship in as much as demonstrated that the guy is really sort of lonely and tired of living his roaming life. He just wants a friend!!
