Yes, dressage can be very challenging! I did a bit although my main sport was show jumping. I was trying to think of a simple term to describe dressage to someone who had never heard of it before, and "horse ballet" is what I came up with :)

As for the messiness..well, I couldn't really see that not happening, the medal being where it is and all.
