Thanks..whether or not it was intentional by the show, it did seem to make sense that Merlin, as a servant, wouldn't have a horse of his own. Who knows...there were a lot more horses in general in S2, more than likely due to a bigger budget for each episode. If they got another increase for S3 maybe we'll see Merlin get a particular horse.
