Depression does suck...I hate the feeling that getting through the day is a hurdle and not knowing what's on the other side of that leap. Argh.
My 4th was great, although it's hard not go have a good time here on that day. They fire a cannon every hour, on the hour on the Commons green, and I can hear it from my house so it is hard not to be excited by it.
Texas ranches are fun, and I'm glad the donkeys were nice ones and not the biting kind! I feel like the 4th is one of those holidays that it's possible to be around people you don't know and still have a good time. Goodness knows we made lots of new friends while standing in the same spot for 1.5 hrs for the fireworks!!
