I'm not that tall (5'6") but I rode pretty much everything at my barn, from the bratty large ponies to the 18.1h Clydesdale we were saddle breaking. Also, I'd regularly switch off from Carlos to Cody and back again so I got used to it. I will say that, although I only fell off Carlos maybe once or twice, it was a loooong way to the ground.
I don't ride anymore as my boys are older and live at a barn that is about an hour away. I used to live down there in the summer and weekends during school so it worked out then, but my budget does not allow for the gas needed to get there, nevermind lessons! I haven't been the healthiest person either so there's that issue too.
It's ok though...I know I will get back to it someday! Do you still ride?
